Natalie Nicholson - MA, LAMFT
Individuals, Couples, and Families

I'm passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen their communication, navigate conflict with compassion, and build deeper, more meaningful connections. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly seen and empowered to make positive, lasting changes in your life and relationships. I value collaboration and always aim to honor your unique story, strengths, and goals. I see clients ages 16 and up, and my clinical interests include premarital and discernment counseling, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, grief, parenting, and life transitions.

My approach draws from a variety of evidence-based methods, and I have advanced training in the Prepare-Enrich model for couples, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Discernment Counseling. I’m also a Level One Brainspotting Practitioner, a powerful modality for processing trauma and emotional overwhelm. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, I enjoy weaving mindfulness, breathwork, and body awareness into sessions when it feels beneficial. These tools can support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and help foster a stronger connection with yourself—especially during times of transition or challenge.

I strive to bring a warm, down-to-earth presence to therapy, along with a sense of humor and a genuine desire to build strong, trusting relationships with the people I work with. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, practicing yoga, exploring new places, and getting outdoors with my dogs.
